PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for bread baking that bakes frozen bread dough that has risen once. SOLUTION: Device for bread baking 1 has a built-in Peltier element 30 and is used for both heating and cooling by converting the electric current flown in the Peltier element 30. Temperature and humidity in a baking compartment 5 of the device for bread baking 1 are optimized by control measure 33 that controls heating, cooling, humidifying, and feeding operations based on signals from a temperature sensor 13a and humidity sensor 13b. Device for bread baking 1 also has a built-in rising sensor 11 that includes a height sensor. Progress of secondary rising is judged based on the height of bread dough measured by the rising sensor 11.
