PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating feces and urine of livestock, with which an offensive odor caused by feces and urine of livestock emitted from a barn and an offensive odor emitted from laid straws after use can be effectively controlled. SOLUTION: This method for treating feces and urine of livestock comprises a deodorant material mixing process for mixing or spraying sawdust in a small piece state of 1-2 mm with a liquid or powdery deodorant material, a laying process for laying the sawdust mixed with the deodorant material in fixed thickness all over the floor of a barn instead of laid straws and a taking out process, after a passage of a fixed period, for taking out the sawdust mixed with feces and urine of livestock from the barn so as to use the sawdust as an organic fertilizer. A deodorant material obtained by introducing a long-chain branch to a crystalline polymer molding by applying a radiation graft polymerization method and chemically bonding an imide group and/or an amide group treated with a hydroxy group and an acid and an alkaline earth metal and/or a transition metal to the long-chain branch is used as the deodorant material.
