PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body supporter which has a strong net in a three- dimensionally curved shape spread on a backrest frame. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic caulking material 12 is filled and solidified in a ring shape groove 12 formed on the radial outer position of a frame 4 made of a synthetic resin. The edge part of a net 6 with elasticity to receive a human body is provisionally fused to a slope face 14 on the backside of the frame 4 over the recessed groove 12 from the projected surface side. The caulking material 15 is once fused by heating the frame 4 and the net 6 for a suitable time and then gradually cooled to give tension to form a three- dimensionally curved face to the net 6 to be fixed on the frame 4. A protecting frame 5 with an L-shape section is fixed to cover the backside of the frame 4 and the outer peripheral face on the radial outer side.
