<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control device of an electric vehicle where a periodical operation such as the detection of, for example, the amount of self discharge of a battery can be executed even during parking, while avoiding the complicating a circuit configuration and the consumption of the battery. SOLUTION: A control part 72 that executes a predetermined operation periodically receives power supply current through a power supply switch 71. The power supply switch 71 is controlled by a timer 76 and intermittently controls the power feed from a battery 3 to the control part 72. On the other hand, the control part 72 executes the predetermined operation and then restarts a timer 76, and at the same time, breaks the power supply switch 71 when it judges that own activation is caused by the timer 76. In this manner, a control device for an electric vehicle is started periodically, simply adding configuration of the timer 76, then the control device is broken until a next operation start time, so that the consumption power corresponds to timer content, the consumption of the battery of the electric while is prevented, and uncertainty in the estimation of the amount of recharging due to the accumulation of the consumption power can be inhibited.</p> |
