PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engaging member which has the main purpose to be perfectly used for a metallic staple in stapling documents and can keep the filament and the fallout-proof part in parallel in an engaged condition. SOLUTION: Fallout-proof parts are equipped integral with both ends of a filament to form the whole shape of this engaging member. The filament is connected to a position shifted from the center of the fallout-proof part. The width of the filament is made same as or larger than the thickness.
