PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a venture-scrubber which has excellent wear resistance in comparison with a conventional one, and with which the load for the maintenance can be lowered and the stable operation of a converter can be realized. SOLUTION: In the venture-scrubber constituted of a cylindrical first dedusting chamber having a nozzle for spraying water to a high temperature gas containing dust, a throat section for passing the gas subjected to dedusting downward and for controlling the flow speed of the gas, and a second dedusting chamber for removing the dust from the gas passed through the throat section, the surface of the inner wall of the first dedusting chamber is subjected to the lining comprising attaching ceramic chips onto the wall. In this case, each ceramic chip is attached onto the inner wall by using a perforated hole provided in each ceramic chip, which hole has a smaller diameter or a step at the side opposite to the inner wall, a press metal fitting capable of being inserted into the perforated hole of the ceramic chip and attaching the ceramic chip onto the inner wall, and an locking means for locking the press metal fitting to the surface of the inner wall mentioned above.
