PURPOSE: A system for a shopping mall and a method for intermediating the shopping mall are provided to induce the visit of a user by satisfying the demand of the user in a general web site and to conveniently build and manage the shopping mall. CONSTITUTION: A shopping mall server(1) has at least one shopping mall sites. An affiliated site(5a-5n) has a link with the shopping mall site. A supplier server(7) includes a manufacturer and a distribution company contracting with the shopping mall server(1). A delivery company server(9) supports the delivery of the article sold from the shopping mall server(1). A shopping mall database stores the information about the shopping mall substituted fro many affiliated sites(5a-5n). An affiliated company database stores the information about the affiliated sites(5a-5n). A supplier database stores the information about the suppliers. A delivery database stores the information about the article to deliver and the delivery situation. A payment unit processes the payment of the article purchased. A control unit controls the provision of the article information and the payment process.
