SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CERTIFICATING WEB SITE

PURPOSE: A system and a method for certificating a web site is provided to allow the certificate code having various kinds of information, to change a certificate grade and to delete the certificate by making an authority for managing the certificate evaluate various kinds of web sites on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A server(10) includes a web server(11) providing various kinds of information, a mail server(12) transmitting/receiving an e-mail through an Internet network(20) and a FTP(File Transfer Protocol) server(13) supporting a file transfer service through the Internet network(20). A certificate management server(30) analyzes and examines the web site if the web site requests the certificate allowance and requests the certificate code allowance to a certificate center(40). The certificate server comprises a certificate server(41) generating and allowing an encoded certificate code of the web site, and a certificate database(42) storing the certificate code and the related information.
