PURPOSE: Provided is a folding chair which makes ease of using and managing chairs by users or managers so that it helps to keep the chairs clean at any time. CONSTITUTION: The folding chair comprises the parts of: a sitting board(3) which is placed at a distant location between legs(1) to keep area for a man to sit on; a back of the chair(5) which is combined with the rear side of the sitting board to give users convenience; a rotation axis(11) which combines a combination area of the back of the chair and the sitting board and a center part of the leg by a hinge; a spring member(13) which is fixed at the rear side of the leg and the sitting board to give elastic power and rotate toward the back of the chair; a support bar for the back(19) which is fixed at one side of the rear back of the chair and the upper edge of the leg to prevent the back from being rotated; and a support bar for the sitting board(21) which is combined with the leg to locate at the rear side of the sitting board and supports gravity generated from the sitting board.
