NON-INPUT PECULIAR PATTERN GENERATION APPARATUS AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING ERRORS THEREFROM

PURPOSE: A non-input peculiar pattern generation apparatus and an apparatus for detecting errors therefrom are provided to test capacity of a corresponding unit by testing a transmission error of a cell bus pattern. CONSTITUTION: An XOR gate(210) performs an XOR operation for two input signals. The first to the ninth flip-flops(221-229) receive a calculated result from the XOR gate(210) and performs a binary counting process according to a reference clock. An inverter(230) is connected with an output terminal of the first flipflop(221) of the first to the ninth flip-flops(221-229). The first and the ninth flip-flops(221-229) are used for generating peculiar patterns. The first flip-flop(221) receives an output of the XOR gate(210). The second flip-flop(222) receives an output of the inverter(230). The remaining flip-flops(221-229) receives outputs of the prior flip-flops.
