PURPOSE: A method for determining the participant of an event by using auction based on the accumulated points is provided to encourage a user to use of the points and participate in the event by introducing the auction and to use the fields of concerns and interests of the participants for the marketing. CONSTITUTION: A reserve is provided corresponding to the member registration, the participation in the event, the purchase of the articles, and the writing of a postscript. The user applies for the participation in the event through the event or prize request page(s102). With the application for the participation in the event, the user applies a portion of the accumulated points as a batting point(s104). The user refers for the progression of the event and increases the batting point depending on the situation(s106). After the application for the event, a final successful bidder is selected depending on the amount of the batting point.
