SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MATCHING NAMING SERVICE BY USING IOR IN DISCRETE PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A system and a method for matching a naming service by using the IOR(Interoperable Object Reference) in a discrete processing system are provided to intermediate the different types of the CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) servers with a client and to prevent the degradation of the performance due to the transmission of the IOR file through the FTP(File Transfer Protocol). CONSTITUTION: A naming matching server(60) is realized between the client(50) and a naming server(70). Respective CORBA servers(80A-80C) register the references of the realization objects by the specific names in the naming server(70). The naming server manages the object references in a repository. The naming matching server(60) returns the method of the realization object to the client(50) after converting the method to the string information. The client(50) transmits the name of the object to the naming matching server(60) and converts the IOR string information to the object reference. The necessary method of the realization object is called from the corresponding CORBA servers(80A-80C).
