PURPOSE: Provided are a method for deodorizing Cordyceps spp. characteristically by using an edible organic acid, and products using the deodorized Cordyceps spp., thereby removing unpleasant smell therefrom and improving storageability of the same. CONSTITUTION: The method for deodorizing Cordyceps spp. comprises the steps of: dipping Cordyceps spp. in an organic acid solution selected from the group consisting of maleic acid, succinic acid, citric acid and acetic acid, at 40-90 deg.C for 5-100 minutes; steaming it with steam of 94-97 deg.C for 5-30 minutes; and naturally drying it with heat and maturing it. The Cordyceps spp. is selected from Cordyceps sinensis, Cordyceps militaris or Paecilomyces japonica. |
