PURPOSE: A closing apparatus of a roof panel opening for a vehicle with a sunroof is provided to close the opening part of the roof panel by an embedded panel with applying a signal from a sensor to a control unit in overturning during traveling the vehicle with opening the sunroof. CONSTITUTION: A closing device of an opening part for a roof panel(1) in a vehicle is composed of a roll sensor detecting overturning of the vehicle; a sunroof opening sensor detecting opening of a sunroof(2); a control unit receiving electrical signals from the roll sensor and the sunroof opening sensor, and calculating; an actuator(40) installed in the roof panel, and operated according to the output signal from the control unit; and an embedded panel(50) sliding in the roof panel by receiving thrust from the actuator, and closing an opening(1a) of the roof panel. Passengers are protected by closing the opening of the roof panel with the embedded panel in overturning.
