PURPOSE: An input locking safety device for a circuit breaker is provided to protect workers by preventing input of a latch during track maintenance. CONSTITUTION: An input locking safety device for a circuit breaker, comprises a lock unit having a cylinder disposed to be parallel to a rotating shaft of an open/shut lever(21), and a sleeve accommodated in the cylinder in such a manner that the sleeve is rotatable, wherein the sleeve has a key slot formed in a lengthwise direction; a key(57) accommodated into the key slot, and which rotates the sleeve relatively with respect to the cylinder; a locking lever(59) having a rotating shaft disposed to be parallel to the axial line of the sleeve, an input latch rotation preventing portion which rotates between the locking position for preventing the input latch from rotating to the input position and the release position for permitting rotation of the input latch, and a pin contact portion extended from the input latch rotation preventing portion along the axial line of the sleeve; and an operating pin penetrating through the cylinder, and which has an end contacting the pin contact portion such that the input latch rotation preventing portion contacts the input latch.
