SOLID ELECTROLYTE TYPE CARBON DIOXIDE GAS SENSOR USING OXIDE REFERENCE ELECTRODE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A solid electrolyte type carbon dioxide gas sensor using oxide reference electrode and method for manufacturing the same is provided to improve sensitive characteristics, while allowing carbon dioxide gas density to be measured in a quantitative manner. CONSTITUTION: A solid electrolyte type carbon dioxide gas sensor comprises a solid electrolyte(2) made of a conductor; a sensor electrode(3) attached to a surface of the solid electrolyte and made of a binary carbonate; a reference electrode(1) attached to the other surface of the solid electrolyte and made of a two-phase mixture of Na-Ti-O compound; a first lead wire(4a) formed by attaching Au wire to the solid electrolyte by using Au paste; and a second lead wire(4b) formed by attaching Au wire to the reference electrode by using Au paste. The reference electrode is made of Na2Ti3O7-Na2Ti6O13, Na2Ti6O13-TiO2 or Na2TiO3-Na2Ti3O7.
