PURPOSE: A mobile terminal capable of swing a display vertically and horizontally is provided to adjust a size of an image displayed on the display according to the mechanical rotation of the display, so as to easily view contents such as motion pictures. CONSTITUTION: The first casing(10) has a plurality of key input parts(13). The second casing(20) has a display(21) displaying characters and images. A connection member(30) of which one end is coupled to the first casing(10) through a hinge to be folded with the first casing(10) and the other end contacts with one area of the second casing(20). A swing unit arranged between one area of the second casing(20) and the other end of the connection member(30) swings the second casing(20) along a contact surface with the connection member(30) within a predetermined angle. And a signal converting unit selectively converts the horizontal direction and the vertical direction of input signals displayed on the display(21), upon the swing of the second casing(20) by the swing unit.
