COMPOUND NEEDLE

PURPOSE: A compound needle operates precisely in case of tension forces acting laterally. CONSTITUTION: The compound needle is comprised of: a needle main body having a hook(3) on an end of a shank part; two slit walls(6, 7) which are formed parallel on the shank part, forming a slider slit(4); the slider slit(4) being relatively narrow at the inlet and having an inlet on the opposite side of the hook(3); a slider having at least two slider springs; free ends of the springs starting from a contact position and forming a funnel opened toward the hook(3); and the springs farther and farther receding from each other.
