PURPOSE: A method for artificially drying a timber is provided to improve quality of the timber and to save manufacturing cost by preventing a surface checking phenomenon of the timber. CONSTITUTION: Paraffin wax is used as a heating medium of a timber. The timber is continuously heated at a temperature above 100°C by using molten paraffin wax as a heat medium, so water contained in the timber is evaporated so that water contained in the timber is discharged from an interior of the timber through a cutting surface of a surface of the timber. Residue stress of a non-dried timber is released, and a rear portion of the timber is prevented from being bent by performing an artificial drying process. A wood plate is immersed into paraffin solution in order to ensure convection of paraffin solution.
