PURPOSE: A polygonal coil shape glass tube for a fluorescent lamp and a divided mold apparatus for processing the same are provided to reduce the consumption of energy through the heating of bent portions only, and to prevent the damage of the fluorescent lamp due to its rolling. CONSTITUTION: The polygonal coil shape glass tube comprises a head portion(110), which is formed by heating a linear glass tube of a circular cross section and of a certain length, and bending the glass tube into a certain curvature and inclination after coinciding the center region of the glass tube with a center point of a regular polygon to be processed; and a body portion, which is obtained by repeatedly bending both linear sides connected to both bent portions of the head portion into a certain curvature and inclination so as to be coincided with next sides again at corners of the polygon. The glass tube consists of linear sides(122) of a certain length and curved corners(121) as many as the linear sides.
