PURPOSE: A shock detecting unit installing structure for an air bag is provided to easily install a shock detecting unit by using a position correcting bracket even if a center facia is biased from a center of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A tunnel reinforcement member(20) is welded on a center tunnel part(11) of a floor panel(10). A shock detecting unit(30) are placed on the tunnel reinforcement member(20). A position correcting bracket(40) is coupled to the tunnel reinforcement member(20) by means of a separate coupling member. The shock detecting unit(30) is coupled to the position correcting bracket(40) by means of a separate coupling member. A center of the shock detecting unit(30) is spaced from a center tunnel section.
