PURPOSE: A media player capable of dubbing a voice and a method for dubbing the voice are provided to arouse interest in language learning and take effect to language learning by enabling selective role play in various media. CONSTITUTION: In a media player driven in a terminal unit and including a function selecting module for regenerating and recording, the apparatus for regenerating media includes a caption information analyzing element(1) extracting caption information from a media source(5) and providing the caption information to a dubbing control element(3); a voice recording element(2) storing voice of a user at a predetermined area of a memory in a predetermined media type and providing the stored voice information to the dubbing control element; and the dubbing control element analyzing the caption information and extracting the voice information matching with the corresponding area in regenerating the predetermined area from the memory and outputting the voice.
