PURPOSE: A CRT panel assembly is provided to allow electron beams to accurately land in the screen region by firmly fixing the mask frame to the panel in such a manner as to minimize vibration of the mask frame. CONSTITUTION: A CRT panel assembly comprises a panel(22) having an inner surface on which a phosphor screen(20) is formed, and an inner side surface(22a) where a coupling groove(22b) is formed; a shadow mask(24) having a plurality of beam passing holes(24a); a mask frame(26) welded along the circumference of the shadow mask, and which supports the shadow mask; and an elastic member(30) arranged at a side surface(26c) of the mask frame and elastically coupled to the coupling groove formed at the panel. Since the mask frame and the panel are linearly coupled with each other, vibration of the mask frame is prevented.
