The present invention relates to the field of insect pest control using biocontrol agents. The invention provides new hosts and methods for rearing insect parasitoids. More particularly, the invention relates to the use of polymer beads (alginate, carrageenan, chitosan) or capsules to rear endoparasitoids in vitro.
