An information providing method enabled to acquire information closely related to a district by using a mobile communication terminal.By mobile telephones(20a to 20c),there are transmitted blank mails,to which electronic mail addresses assigned to individual places of establishment and given to the establishments are exclusively inputted.When an information processing device(14)receives a blank mail,it transmits a return main,in which a map(URL)or address information is added to the blank mail,to the mobile telephones(20a to 20c).When the mobile telephones(20a to 20c)make accesses by using the map(URL),moreover,the information of the map around the present address is displayed on the displays of the mobile telephones(20a to 20c).
