<p>A rolling method with round dies not using a rest for supporting a work during rolling, comprising the steps of dropping a material (M) on the upper surface of a support blade mounting table (53), positioning the material on the upper surface, and feeding the first rolling die (100) and a second rolling die (101), pressingly against each other, toward the material (M) while rotating the rolling dies in a same rotating direction to start the contact of the dies (100) and (101) with the material (M), wherein the first rolling die (100) and the second rolling die (101) are brought into contact with both opposed side faces of the material (M), i.e., at an angular interval of 180°, the material (M) must not be supported by a support blade (54) since the material (M) is held on both opposed side faces of the material (M) at the angular interval of 180°and at an accurate position by the first rolling die (100) and the second rolling die (101), and an air cylinder (76) is driven after the material (M) comes into contact with the first rolling die (100) and the second rolling die (101) to escape the support blade (54) from a rolling area.</p> |
