<p>An optical recording medium which has a spiral track or concentric tracks and on which data is optically recorded. A data recording/reproducing area of the optical recording medium is radially divided into zones. Each zone is divided into sectors each having an address portion including a pit having address information and a data portion composed of only grooves. The numbers of sectors of the zones are different from one another. The relation between the average reflectance Iadd of the address portion and the average reflectance Idata of the data portion is given by 0.7 ≤ (Iadd/Idata) ≤ 1.3 or given by 0.8 ≤ (Iadd/Idata) ≤ 1.2.</p> |
