<p>A process for producing a polymeric fluorescent material, characterized by comprising the step of treating with an acid a polymeric fluorescent material which fluoresces in a solid state and has a number-average molecular weight of 1x104 to 1x108 in terms of polystyrene; a process for producing a polymeric fluorescent material, characterized by comprising the step of treating with an acid a polymeric fluorescent material which fluoresces in a solid state and has a number-average molecular weight of 1x104 to 1x108 in terms of polystyrene and the step of treating it with an alkali; and a process for producing a polymeric fluorescent material, characterized by comprising the step of treating with an acid a polymeric fluorescent material which fluoresces in a solid state and has a number-average molecular weight of 1x104 to 1x108 in terms of polystyrene, the step of treating it with an alkali, and the step of finally treating it with a substance containing neither an acid nor an alkali.</p> |
