<p>There is disclosed apparatus for setting a zero-reference point for a power tool which comprises an adjustable reference marker (26) and a scale (34) for comparison therewith. The reference marker (26) is moveably linearly relative to the power tool and the scale (34) is translatable relative to the power tool such that whatever the position of the adjustable reference marker (26) relative to the power tool the scale (34) may be translated to define a zero-reference point with respect to that position of the adjustable reference marker (26).</p> |
