<p>A pigment masterbatch composition for polyolefin resins, characterized by containing as a carrier resin a copolymer (A) comprising one or more polymer chains which each is a homo- or copolymer of a C2-20 α-olefin and one or more copolymer chains made up of units derived from at least one of cycloolefins, aromatic vinyl monomers, and vinyl monomers containing a polar group, the two kinds of chains being bonded to each other through grafting and/or block bonding. The masterbatch composition is highly effective in improving pigment dispersibility in the coloring of a polyolefin resin and thereby prevent the polyolefin resin from suffering a decrease in material properties.</p> |
