AQUEOUS RESIN DISPERSION,PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME,AND USE
摘要
An aqueous resin dispersion; and a process for easily producing the aqueous resin dispersion. The aqueous resin dispersion is excellent in infiltrating properties, leveling, and chemical stability. It is produced by reacting a macromonomer composition with a vinyl monomer in an aqueous medium. The macromonomer composition is obtained, for example, by polymerizing at 160 to 350°C a monomer mixture comprising 10 to 80 wt.% vinyl monomer having an alkyl group in the &agr;−position and 90 to 20 wt.% nonaromatic vinyl monomer having a hydrogen atom in the &agr;−position based on the total amount of all monomers to be used in the macromonomer composition production. This macromonomer composition comprises hydrophilic monomer units and hydrophobic monomer units.
