摘要

The present invention provides a methods and compositions for control of powdery mildew comprising a novel Verticillium lecanii strain that exhibits antifungal activity both greenhouses and outdoors. The invention also provides use of a cell-free extract produced by Verticillium lecanii for control of powdery mildew in plants, and particularly in strawberries and grapes.
