Bridging construction particularly for connecting of a rail arrangement

The bridging construction is used where a railway track runs from a movable or floating support onto firm ground. The sliding carriages (1) are guided and supported in a mechanical way. The support system uses lifting chains and horizontal guides (11) and vertical supports (12) to create a uniform intermediate space (8) between the sliding carriages. Deformable sliding bearings are provided for both the horizontal guides and the vertical supports.
