The exercise scooter has a chassis (3), front wheel (6), rear wheel and steering. The scooter has a pair of pedal crank arms to drive a front sprocket (4) connected to a rear selectable sprocket group (9) by a chain. The drive assembly is mounted on treadles (1) on rails (2). The treadles can provide an elliptical path of movement for the crank arms. The support face of each treadle is individually adjustable.
