Automatic assembly cuts top from bread loaf and mills cavity in lower section for use as disposable food bowl

An assembly (1) shapes a bowl (10) and cover by slicing a loaf (6) into an upper section (8) and a lower section (7) and milling or drilling a cavity (9) in the lower section. The assembly is preceded by a saw-blade (3) which divides the loaf into an upper cover and lower bowl section. The milling tool (2) incorporates a suction pipe for removal of bread crumbs from the cavity. The milling head (15) has a radius on the front cutting edge. Loaves are automatically presented to the knife and milling tool.
