The unit has a fixed contact carrier [1] and a movable contact lever [2] that is pivot mounted on the main lever [5]. When the contact pads [11,12] are engaged the there is a spring [16] force applied. Operation is provided by an actuator rod [8] pinned onto the lever. The unit has a pre contact region [13] for arc conduction to a horn section [14].
