Display system comprises a first display unit (10) with a first indicator needle (12) for display of a first value (A) by rotation of the needle around a preferably curved line (16). The second display unit is formed by the indicator needle of the first display along which a marker (22) moves to indicate a second value. E.g. the first value can be the speed of a vehicle, while the second value can be the engine speed in rpm.
