The floor slab, formed from a cast concrete layer, is edge-bounded at least partially by angled elements (2) each with a shuttering member (3) bounding the concrete layer on an edge, and a bottom member (4) extending beneath the concrete layer. The angled elements are transit-mixed concrete components. Anchoring elements in the form of eyelet screws (5,6) project from the shuttering element and/or the bottom member and protrude into the concrete layer. An independent claim is included for a shuttering element in the form of the aforesaid angled element.
