A low-level flushing cistern is operated by a plunger 3 projecting up through an opening in the cover centre to be reciprocable through it and mounted and shaped so that the cover can be removed without the plunger 3. The plunger 3 cannot be drawn up and out because of an abutment at 7 as shown. The depressed plunger pivots a lever 5 mounted on a shaft 9 integral with the holder 4 suspended from a front wall 10 and clamped thereon in service by the cover. |
