发明名称 Method and apparatus for the electrostatic power-coating of objects
摘要 <p>An object is coated with an electrically insulating glass or ceramic powder by positioning it above the powder in the form of a fluidized bed containing one or more ionising electrodes at a high potential difference with respect to the object. The process is applicable to the coating of metal wire, strip or grid. Apparatus is described comprising a fluidized bed container containing pointed electrodes the tips of which are just below the surface of the fluidized bed which are connected to one pole of a high-voltage generator; the objects to be coated are conductively suspended from an earthed conveyer, or in the case of continuous lengths are fed from an earthed reel, so as to pass over the bed; the other pole of the generator is also earthed. The objects may be heated before and/or after coating.ALSO:An object is coated with an electrically insulating powder by positioning it above the powder in the form of a fluidized bed containing one or more ionizing electrodes at a high potential difference with respect to the object.
