发明名称 Improvements in or relating to apparatus for processing strip or sheet material
摘要
1,046,347. Shearing; punching; stamping. METAL BOX CO. Ltd. April 8, 1965 [July 28, 1964], No. 29997/64. Headings B3Q and B3W. [Also in Divisions B4 and B6] A double-crank flying press which may be fitted with tools 2, 3 for cutting, stamping, scoring, drawing or embossing metallic or non- metallic materials comprises tool carrying frames 4, 5 mounted on four pairs of cranks 6, 7, 8 and 9 carried on shafts 10, 11, 12 and 13. The crankshafts are inter-conneoted by gears 16, 17, 18 and 19, 20 and 21. The crank-shafts also carry balance weights 14 and 15, and have means for adjusting the throw of the crank-pins 66, Fig. 11 (not shown), and the radius of the balance weights simultaneously, comprising a right- and left-hand screw which is rotated by a shaft 58 through bevel gearing. In order to make the adjustment the machine is stopped and locked in the position in which the cranks are parallel to the frames 4 and 5, Fig. 12 (not shown), and a shaft 77 is rotated by a hand wheel. This shaft is connected by gearing to adjusting screws for the crank-pins and balance weights mounted on shafts 11 and 13. The movement of the crankpins is transmitted through the frames to the crank-pins mounted on the shafts 10 and 12. The outward movement of the crank-pins is limited by gauging blocks 67. Quick pitch screws connect the crank-pins and balance weights associated with the latter shafts so that the movement of the crank-pins produces a corresponding movement of the balance weights. There are feed rollers at the entry and exit sides of the machine. The feed movement is arrested by a gauging stop 45 rigidly mounted on the frame 5, Fig. 4 (not shown), and to prevent buckling of the strip it is held between clamps 47, 48 which are resiliently mounted on the frames 4 and 5 and which clamp the strip before the tools engage it. To maintain the clearance between the tools one of the frames has a tapered recess and the other has a mating peg which engages the recess as the tools approach the operating position and locks the frames in the correct relative positions. A stripper bar 102, Fig. 13 (not shown), is carried by brackets 103 which are hung on links 106 pivoted to the frame 4 and which are oscillated by eccentrics 105 and roller followers 104.
