PURPOSE: A valve timing-variable device of the engine for a vehicle is provided to decrease driving hydraulic pressure by reducing the area contacted with a housing, with reducing the number of hydraulic chambers and seals. CONSTITUTION: A valve timing-variable device of the engine for a vehicle comprises a rotor(10) fixed at the end portion of a cam shaft, a housing(20) having the rotor within, and pistons(30) moving the rotor. Two vanes(11) are formed to the rotor and the vanes are disposed to a space for movement(22) formed to the housing. Hydraulic chambers(23) are formed to the housing body between the space for movement. The pistons are disposed within the hydraulic chambers and connected to the opposite vane through rods(31). |
