PURPOSE: A device for preventing the theft of an audio for a vehicle is provided to prevent the theft of the audio body by automatically fixing the audio body in a vehicle body if an audio facia is removed. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing the theft of an audio for a vehicle comprises a hinge(20) combined with a fixing protrusion(16) integrally formed on an audio body(10) or separated from the fixing protrusion, a motor(18) fixed on a crush pad bracket(12) to combine the hinge with the fixing protrusion or separate the hinge from the fixing protrusion, a facia sensing unit(80) to sense the separation of an audio facia(14) from the audio body, and a motor drive circuit(70) to drive the motor with response to the separation of the audio facia from the audio body and combine the hinge with the fixing protrusion of the audio body.
