摘要 PURPOSE: A system for transmitting asynchronous MII data using a signaling system is provided to transmit the MII data without specific additional information by coding the MII data according a data transmission enable signal through inter-different line coding methods. CONSTITUTION: A transmission unit(10) has a nibble shift buffer(11) for receiving 4-bit data from an MII data parallel transmission system and successively storing the received 4-bit data, a serial buffer(12) for receiving data by a frame length designated by a serial system from the transmission unit(10), and a line coder(14) for coding the data stored in the serial buffer(12) according to a data transmission enable signal through inter-different coding methods and serially transmitting the coded data. The transmission unit(10) has a frame controller(13) for stopping the data transmission of the MII data parallel transmission system, controlling the line coder(14) according to the data transmission enable signal, and setting the line coding method when the data with the frame length designated by the serial system are stored in the serial buffer(12). A reception unit(20) has a line coder(21) for decoding the coded receiving data by a decoding method corresponding to the corresponding coding method, a serial buffer(22) for successively storing the serial data decoded in the line coder(21), and a nibble shift buffer(24) for receiving the data stored in the serial buffer(22) and storing the received data by a 4-bit unit. The reception unit(20) has a frame controller(23) for outputting a reception enable signal according to the line coding method of the receiving data and transmitting the data stored in the nibble shift buffer(24) to the parallel transmission system.
