CONTROL INFORMATION MANAGING SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING CONNECTION OF SWITCH IN OPEN SWITCHING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A control information managing system for controlling the connection of a switch in an open switching system and a method therefor are provided to offer message parameters for providing information specified per a system. CONSTITUTION: If an IP(Input Port) and an IL(Input Label) exist in a connection table(S404) and an OP(Output Port) and an OL(Output Label) do not exist in the connection table(S405), it is checked whether an SF(Specified Flag) exists(S407). If the SF exists, output characteristic information is extracted(S408). Switch connection is requested to a DC(Device Controller)(S409). If the IP and the IL do not exist in the connection table(S404), the OP and the OL are compared(S410). If the OP and the OL exist in the connection table, an MP-t-P(Multi-Point to Point) connection is performed(S415). If the OP and the OL do not exist(S410), it is judged whether the SF exists(S411). If the SF exists, input/output characteristic information is extracted(S412). The switch connection is requested to the DC(S413), and connection information is stored(S414).
