PURPOSE: A system and a method for playing a voice book, and a recording medium with a program source recorded are provided to output voice data referring to text data and support the movement of output position. CONSTITUTION: In a system including at least one speaker(114) and display part(112) capable of playing a voice book to a user, the system outputs voice data through the speaker and the display part by information of text data connected with each other by regular unit and already included in a voice book file, supports interface capable of controlling movement to position of connected voice data based on the text data if the use wants to move to a new position of the voice data, and supports to search the voice data based on a search index table of the text data connected with the voice data and already included in the voice book file.
