<p>The patent deals with a pin (1; 10) or treenail for dry assembly by driving them in, or connecting by a leading lengthy section of rated diameter and an anchoring section. Along the core (2; 11) there are exclusively circular ribs. The external diameter of leading ribs (3; 12) determines the rated diameter of the treenail or pin, while the external diameter of anchoring ribs (4; 13) is equal for all ribs, but larger than the rated one. The thickness of the leading ribs (3; 12) is smaller than the thickness of the anchoring ribs (4; 13). The distance between the ribs (3, 4; 12; 13) is uniform and equal to the distance between the last of the anchoring ribs (4; 13) from the corresponding core end (2; 11). The core (2; 11) is cylinder-shaped or conical and full. The anchoring ribs (4; 13) are uniformly divided, so that they consist of semi-ribs (4a) or quarter-ribs (4b).
