PURPOSE: A device for locking a console box of a vehicle is provided to prevent an accident due to the opening of a console box by suppressing the easy unlocking of the console box when an external shock is applied. CONSTITUTION: A device for locking a console box of a vehicle comprises a pair of locking bars(120) inserted to locking recesses(102) of a console box body or separated from the locking recesses, a moving unit to horizontally move the locking bars, and a handle(130) to operate the moving unit and to lift up a lid of the console box. The moving unit is an operating member(110) having a pair of guide units(112). Since the console box is locked by the locking bars at both sides, the console box is locked firmly.
