PURPOSE: An electro-luminescence device having a both-sided display function and an apparatus for driving the same are provided to display images on both sides by using the electro-luminescence device. CONSTITUTION: The first transparent electrode(24), a hole relation layer, an organic emitting layer(30), an electron relation layer, and the second transparent layer(36) are formed between an upper glass substrate(40) and a lower glass substrate(22). The first electrode(24) is formed with one material of indium-tin-oxide, indium-zinc-oxide, and indium-tin-zinc-oxide. The hole relation layer is formed with a hole injection layer(26) and a hole transfer layer(28). The electron relation layer is formed with an electron transfer layer(32) and an electron injection layer(34). The second transparent electrode(36) is formed with one material of indium-tin-oxide, indium-zinc-oxide, and indium-tin-zinc-oxide. A passivation layer is formed on the lower substrate except for the first and the second transparent electrodes(24,36).
