PURPOSE: A method for automatically connecting a telephone call during absence is provided to quickly perform the telephone call with a caller who calls a user of a portable phone during absence. CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor confirms whether a caller disconnects a telephone call before a reception-side user of a portable phone operates one key button among key buttons on a keypad(S320). If the caller disconnects the telephone call, the microprocessor stores calling information of a caller in a memory(S330). The microprocessor adds the number of termination from the caller while it is impossible for the user of the portable phone to perform a telephone call, and displays added numbers of termination on an absent termination number screen of a display device(S331). The user of the portable phone selects a call key button on the absent termination number screen(S340), and calls the last caller(S341). If the user of the portable phone selects a confirmation key button on the absent termination number screen(S350), the microprocessor detects calling information of the caller stored in the memory and displays detected calling information on a telephone history screen. The microprocessor confirms whether a telephone number of the caller exists(S370). If the telephone number of the caller exists, the microprocessor retrieves a telephone number same to the telephone number of the caller from a telephone directory and confirms whether a registration name having the same number exists(S371). If the registration name having the same number exists, the microprocessor displays the name registered in the telephone directory instead of the telephone number of the caller(S381). If the registration name having the same number does not exist, the microprocessor displays only the telephone number of the caller(S382). If the user selects one on the telephone history screen(S390) and selects the call key button, a calling signal is transmitted to the telephone of the caller(S340). If the user selects one on the telephone history screen and pushes the confirmation key button(S391), a termination history detailed screen is displayed for displaying a detailed history of the caller(S392). If the user pushes the call key button after confirming the detailed history(S340), the user performs the telephone call with the caller(S341). |
